The educational purpose of THE IDENTITY QUEST is to help people

• discover their personal Truth through participation in an “artistic process”
• choose to live authentically through conscious choices and S(s)elf balance
  
• engage responsibly in daily life with harmonious relationships

THE IDENTITY QUEST fosters the artistic process as a powerful tool not only for building social skills of “emotionally troubled” children and adults, but also for the personal growth of every person.

Expressive Arts, if practiced as a daily Way of living, can expel the blockages to self-fulfillment and enable an individual to become happily and usefully whole. 

Learning to live in relationships based on trust instead of fear is a direct byproduct of the use of THE IDENTITY QUEST programs.

Through the creative use of artistic materials, through the establishment of relationships with canvas, paint, music, movement, and images, a person can overcome inner blockages to expressing their authentic S(s)elf.  

 A further benefit of The Identity Quest  program is the re-establishment of a fuller sense of personal worth/esteem.  

For elder persons,THE IDENTITY QUEST can facilitate a "life story" narrative and form a legacy for their children and grandchildren.
