The Holistic Learning Programs Facilitate
1. LEARNING
TO TRUST ONE BALANCED S(s)ELF
by enlarging the use of your intuitive mind and
reducing the dominant control of the rational mind
2. MAINTAINING
A BALANCED S(s)ELF
by repairing non-peaceful S(s)elf imbalances and
continually re-connecting with the intuitive mind for
in-the-moment guidance about harmonious living
3. ACCEPTING
AND GIVING GENUINE CARING
by encouraging individual S(s)elf expression with the
support of social group cooperation

1.
Learning To Trust One New Balanced S(s)elf
The
key to authentic S(s)elf expression and harmonious living is the recovery of a balanced rational
and intuitive S(s)elf . . . by learning to trust one balanced S(s)elf.
The Mangrove Seed offers a new model and practice discipline
based on a paradigm shift from fear-based to trusting beliefs,
attitudes, and behaviors. The
shift not only balances fear with trust, but also promotes a release
of the dysfunctional, addictive illusion of personal control in daily
living.
The
holistic learning program balances the critically separate, but related
psychological and spiritual paths to a recover a balanced S(s)elf.
Balanced living involves using both the rational mind--(s)-- and the intuitive
mind--S--in every present moment. The death of the traditional
"selfish" ego-mind does not necessarily foster a spiritual
life; an enlightenment by a "loving" spiritual mind does
not necessarily promote practical daily living.
We
need BOTH minds, a balanced S(s)elf, to function with wholeness and
peace. We must dance with balanced duality, not singularity.
2.
Releasing Dominant Control By The Rational Mind
The essential recovery
of trust requires releasing compulsive rational mind control
in daily decision making. The recovery of a balanced S(s)elf requires
crossing the river of fear on a bridge of trust. Some aspect of "the
crossing"
is always happening in daily life. New opportunities for personal
transformation are presented with every breath of our life.
The rational, fear-biased
mind searches incessantly, expecting to find certainty in life and
conquer inherent human fears of death. However, the ever-changing
flow of life demands a complementary search for uncertainty by the
intuitive, trust-biased mind.
Balancing both quests
for "knowing" is the holistic way of peaceful living.
Our
responsibility is to consciously envision this journey as a daily "way
of life," a way of being in every present moment. The road has
no "steps" to climb to reach some destination; the journey
is the destination---a constant practice of balancing the survival
rational mind with the expressive intuitive mind.
3.
Maintaining The Balanced New S(s)elf
The ultimate goal for sustained,
long-term change into harmonious living is to develop the habits of S(s)elf acceptance and genuine caring.
S(s)elf
acceptance implies a conscious and continuous release/surrender of
any mental connection with psychological past and future and a balanced,
in the moment, re-connection with the one S(s)elf . . . BOTH the rational
and intuitive minds.
The
continual process of "trusting personal S(s)elf acceptance" is
the sina qua non for maintaining the new balanced S(s)elf,
as well as for the compassionate recognition that this same S(s)elf
exists in all other humans.
The
Mangrove Seed program of balance does not destroy the rational mind,
in favor of the intuitive mind. It complements and nurtures the expression
of each of these necessary functions in our daily existence.
We are
born in a physical form to learn to express, in a unique way, our "divine
spirit", through our intuitive Self. The rational mind constructs
a safe environment for the intuitive Self to manifest.
However,
in our western culture the rational mind has become too powerful,
too dominant in everyday
"survival living." This causes us to lose our harmonious
inner peace.
This functional,
sometimes too dominant, aspect of our "human existence" derails
our journey to peaceful living. We often become inhibited by incidental,
and often irrelevant, life situation scenarios that take us away
from our focus on balanced S(s)elf expression.

The
Mangrove Seed Model Can Be Visualized
As Filling A Well With S(s)elf Acceptance
|
|
1. Recognize Your S(s)elf Acceptance "deficit"
Understand that low S(s)elf esteem was/is caused by fear-based beliefs/attitudes/behaviors coupled with insufficient genuine caring leads to the lack of S(s)elf acceptance. Your well may be leaking, or have no bottom and walls, because of the impact from shame, guilt, and blame created by external belief systems. You may have unconsciously (and consciously) chosen to accept yourself based upon what others have perpetuated upon you. Every person needs to awaken to their own, consciously chosen personal Truth. |
 |
2. Plug The Holes In The Old Well To Form A New Well Develop a conscious practice of inner reflection and examination to determine the validity both the feelings and thoughts that form your belief and behavior systems. Learn to balance your fear-based belief system with trusting beliefs and attitudes. Most importantly, prevent any existing S(s)elf acceptance from leaking out. In general, resist following "the herd mentality." Avoid unconsciously relinquishing your conscious, personal choice.
|
|
3. Jump Start Your New "Acceptance Well" Learn to trust and accept some form of nurturing support(genuine caring) from outside yourself. Allow the help of other people to penetrate your defensive, fear-based shield created by the rational mind. Augment your limited supply of existing S(s)elf acceptance by embracing new revelations about your personal worth.
|
|
4. Enhance Your Own S(s)elf Caring Continue to increase your sense of personal worth by choosing new practices that assist the re-formulation process of your resentments and fears. Maintain this inner balanced acceptance of your innate S(s)elf-worth by examining your emotional encoding of resentments/fears, and challenging the rationality of your beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors.
|
|
5. Share Your New Balanced S(s)elf To keep your well "full" and your life balanced, demonstrate to other people how you live your path and process of S(s)elf acceptance. Support others to regain their personal Truth and live authentic lives. Follow a personal path of cooperation rather than competition; abundance rather than scarcity; trust rather than fear.
