| The Way Of The Mangrove Seed Is Founded Upon A Psychological Predicament And A Remedy
THE PREDICAMENT
Our Lives Are Too Often
Motivationally Dominated By Fear
THE REMEDY
Learning To Trust Our Innate S(s)elf Worth Through S(e)elf Acceptance and Genuine Caring

The foundational rationale for The Way of the Mangrove Seed is based upon a psychological imbalance between the functioning of the two aspects of our mind . . . the rational and intuitive. As humans, we have the benefit of both objective, logical reasoning as well as subjective, intuitive knowing. But, we too often fail to integrate both aspects of our mind into a harmonious response to life’s events.
The process offered in The Way of the Mangrove Seed is a continuing, holistic program based upon nine principles and movements for personal re-balancing. This journey, if it is to be a relevant and effective vehicle for personal change, must also be continually practiced in everyday living.
This balancing process requires a conscious “being in the present moment.” Of course, attaining this consciousness is naturally illusive. Personal S(s)elf realization is never permanently attained; it represents only the direction of life’s flow, coupled with momentary glimpses of balanced sanity.
Personal inner peace is founded upon this “in-the-moment” re-connection with a balanced inner S(s)elf. The Mangrove Seed also offers a daily pathway to balance our intuitive, trust-based mind(S) and our rational, fear-based mind(s).
The S(s)elf Balancing process is essentially twofold: First, the psychological recovery of a new balanced S(s)elf; and, second, an experiential application of this new inner S(s)elf in challenging daily life situations.
This process never ends; the journey IS the destination. Moreover, personal fulfillment and enjoyment become possible when our true identity is authentically expressed by our balanced S(s)elf.
The end of individual suffering occurs when we learn to balance our true S(s)elf. Inner peace results when we consciously allow both the rational and intuitive minds to become balanced in every choice/decision we make in daily living.
In time, we can individually accept the unfolding of life situations with less judgement. We will live more from trust than fear; from a space of inner peace rather than stress.
And, we can each enjoy resting peacefully within our S(s)elf even though other S(s)elves continue to struggle in a stressful world.
Life’s Journey Is Crossing The River Of Fear
On A Bridge Of Trust
The essential journey Home to a balanced S(s)elf involves crossing the river of fear on a bridge of trust. This process occurs not only on a daily basis, but in every moment when a person is fully conscious of his/her interaction with the outer world.
Some aspect of “the crossing” is always happening in daily life; new opportunities for personal transformation are being presented with every breath of our life.
The responsibility of a person in their recovery of a balanced S(s)elf is to envision this journey as a way of life, a way of being in every present moment.
Simply stated, "being in the present moment" means a conscious awareness of both logical thoughts and intuitive feelings -- an objective and subjective reality. A person must "live in the gap" where chronological time, past and future, momentarily ceases to exist.
What "seems to be real" when interpreted by the rational mind, prone to competitive survival, must be challenged and balanced by the intuitive mind, prone to trusting collaboration. We must remain vigilant about our living a balanced lifestyle because of the prevalence of fear in the rational and intuitive mind belief system.

S(s)elf Acceptance Is The
Balance Point
|
 |
|
The ultimate “operational
imperative” for sustained, long-term recovery
from all
fear-based compulsive thinking and
addictions
is to develop the habit of S(s)elf ACCEPTANCE . . .
honoring
not only your "imperfect human wholeness,"
but also
that within other people.
Acceptance implies a conscious and
continuous surrender
of any mental attachment to a person's
past resentments
through a balanced re-connection
with the S(s)elf in every present moment.
Through this process of re-balancing the S(s)elf
any fears that might result from these unconscious resentments can be modified.
Continual daily practice of the nine movements
of the Mangrove Seed S(s)elf Balancing program
will also manifest the habit of Genuine Caring.
The nine movements are not “steps” to be taken once on life's journey.
They are not a quick fix, "sliver bullet."
They require incorporation with the daily routines of life
in order to properly balance the fear-based survival demands of rational mind,
and develop authentic personal living.
Most importantly, the Mangrove Seed
offers only a pathway for harmonious living.
You
must provide the "what to do" from your personal life
situation.
We provide only a skeleton
upon which you add
your individual flesh and muscle
to create your authentic S(s)elf.

|
You
cannot find yourself in the past or future.
The only place you can find yourself is in the now. Relinquish
your attachment to past and future
and make the now the main focus of your life.
It means choosing to dwell in the state of presence rather than time. It
means saying yes to what is.
