We Live Life From An Inner S(s)elf
That Is Out Of Balance
As individuals, we have become disconnected
from authentic personal meaning in our daily living. And,
collectively, we have forgotten who and why we are human.
We have lost our Real Identity; we have
lost our True Essence.
We are afflicted by fear, controlled by
compulsive thinking, and often deceived by the dictates
of our rational mind. We believe that we are the rational,
logic mind and nothing else. Or, we believe that we are
an intuitive, non-logical mind and nothing else.
We are individually out of psychological
balance. This inner disequilibrium is the true source of
our daily stress.
We Have Forgotten
That Our Authentic S(s)elf
Has Two Minds:
Rational AND
Intuitive
Personal inner peace is founded upon an “in-the-moment” re-connection
with a balanced inner S(s)elf. The Mangrove Seed offers
a daily path to balance our intuitive, trust-based mind(S)
and our rational, fear-based mind(s).
Our true individual "mind" is
comprised of both these aspects: rational and intuitive.
Each is motivated differently, each processes our life
situations differently. The rational mind is emotionally
wrapped in fear-based emotions; the intuitive mind is wrapped
in trust-based emotions. However, each must speak, in a
balanced way, for authentic S(s)elf realization to manifest. The process is essentially twofold:
First, the psychological recovery of a new balanced S(s)elf, and, second, an experiential application
of this new inner S(s)elf in challenging daily life situations.
This process never ends; the journey
IS the destination.
Moreover, personal fulfillment and enjoyment become possible
when our true identity is authentically expressed by our
balanced S(s)elf.
We Are Often Motivated
By Fear
And Our Rational Mind Creates
The Illusion Of
Personal Control
When our rational mind becomes fear based, it causes
inner anxiety. Its dominance creates an imbalanced and constant
need to control the outcomes of our external environment.
The objective memories from our past that
are wrapped with a subjective pain-based emotion, commonly
called resentments, prompt the rational mind to motivate
us to avoid the re-occurrence of this "past pain." Our
rational mind also creates future fears(mental expectations)
based upon an avoidance-of-pain belief system.
The projected possibility of a future
re-occurrence of actual "past pain" is the basis
for a dominant defensive survival strategy . . . and the creation of our illusion
that we can control, with certainty, the outcomes in daily
life situations.
We Cannot Give Away
Peace
Until We Know INNER Peace PERSONALLY
Re-balancing the inner S(s)elf will give
us inner peace. Without inner peace, we have nothing to
offer other S(s)elves.
Moreover, we cannot really give our inner
peace away if we do not truly experience personal peace.
Additionally, we cannot assume that other S(s)elves will
accept our peace into their lives without our authentically
knowing and living peace in our daily lives.
The emulation of human role models is
the primary cause of human personal change, both positive
and negative. If we can learn to sprout rather than spout
peace by individual example, we can offer encouragement to future generations.
We must walk the talk, as they say. Simple,
but not necessarily easy. Every day is a struggle to live
from a space of inner peace.
